SAE Section Meeting

Student Presentation Night

Date: Wednesday, Feb. 17
Meeting Time: 5:30 pm to ~8 pm --- Pizza at 5:30 to 6 --- Presentations at 6 sharp.
Meeting Place: Colorado School of Mines, CTLM Building - Room 102 (the big room)

Please join us to watch Colorado engineering students vie for funds to help complete an entry into their engineering competition.

Participating teams will be eligible for the following monetary awards:

1st place: $800
2nd place: $700
3rd place: $600

Several engineering designs and projects related to automotive or aerospace engineering will be presented. There will be a lot of interesting facts and design principles seen, all applied to a real-world project.

Message from the Chair:
You know the old saying "Don't judge a man till you've walked in his shoes?" Well, Jeff left some big shoes, and everything that I have been doing creates more and more respect for what Jeff has done while the Chair of Colorado SAE. Our hearts go to Mark Holden, who recently lost his Mother, Moms are the best. I want to thank all the officers now, for I fear I will forget while in the heat of battle organizing. For any who would like to participate in our SAE section, or have any ideas for a meeting, please give me or any of our officers a call.

Directions to the CTLM Building on the Colorado School of Mines campus:

From Hwy 6th on the western edge of Golden.
Turn East onto 19th Street.
Turn North (left) onto Illinois then east (right) onto 18th.

The CTLM Building is approximately in mid-block between Illinois and Washington. It is on the left (North) side of 18th street.

There is a very large parking lot in front of the CTLM building which is set back, well off from 18th Street.
